Your marketing isn't broken. It's just bleeding in a place nobody's looked.

I'm Kaivalya. For 15 years I've been finding the real problem in ad accounts, SEO strategies, and email funnels — the one everyone else missed — fixing it with systems, and showing clients the receipts.

If your ads stopped working, your agency stopped caring, or you're just not sure where your marketing budget is actually going — book a free audit. Worst case, you walk away with a clear diagnosis and a roadmap you can run yourself.

01 / The problem

The problem you think you have isn't the real one.

There's a D2C brand I started working with in July 2026.

Their Google Ads "didn't work." That was the brief.

Here's what was actually happening:

83.2% of their entire lifetime ad spend — ₹2,33,000 — was sitting in paused campaigns. Including the best-converting campaign the account had ever run.

The campaign that was actually working? Paused. Collecting dust. While a live campaign sent 89.6% of all paid clicks to the homepage instead of the product page.

They didn't have a performance problem.
They had a diagnosis problem.

Within 12 days of taking over: verified 3.56× ROAS against a 2.89× break-even. The sitewide PMax hit 5.71×. The Makeup for Kids campaign — the one that had been paused — ran 5.55×.

The only thing that changed was someone actually read the account.

That's what I do. I read what everyone else skips.

The situation when I arrived

2 of 19 campaigns live. ~₹700/day spend. Zero conversions being tracked properly — the purchase conversion window was set to 7 days on a product category where people think for 3 weeks before buying. 89.6% of paid clicks landing on the homepage instead of product pages. 186 keywords competing with each other.

And buried inside the account? ₹2,33,000 in historical spend — 83.2% of everything they'd ever spent — sitting in paused campaigns. Including their highest-converting campaign of all time.

The diagnosis

This wasn't a performance problem. It was a measurement problem wearing a performance problem's clothes. The algorithm was blind. So were the humans. You can't optimize what you can't see.

What I did (the receipt)
  1. Week 1: read-only forensic audit. Touched nothing. Read four years of change history.
  2. Fixed measurement first: adjusted conversion window, tightened GA4 key events, cleaned up conversion actions.
  3. Resurrected the paused winners at reduced budget — with explicit stop-rules: judge on 10–15 conversions, not 10 days.
  4. Rebuilt the account in 3 layers: acquisition, conversion, retention. One job per campaign.
  5. Killed the homepage habit: if the ad shows kids' makeup, the landing page shows kids' makeup.
  6. Pruned 186 keywords down to 10, with real negative keyword lists.
  7. Built a change log where every change carries a written hypothesis and gets a written verdict.
The honest partI also told them the biggest leak wasn't an ads problem at all. 86.9% of product-page viewers never added to cart. More ad budget would have made that leak more expensive. So I deliberately held spend for two weeks while measurement was being repaired. Turning down the chance to spend more of a client's money is not a popular move in this industry. I made it anyway.

3.93×red wigglers, 30 days

32.9%Amazon, same auctions
Important context — this is why the story is worth telling

The 8.03× was already in the account when I opened it. I did not create it. My result was reading four years of history closely enough to find it, proving it with exports, protecting the two campaigns that were working instead of rebuilding everything, and writing a staged budget ladder with stop-rules so the next CA$9 doesn't become another CA$619.

Anyone who claims they produced an 8× on an account they'd just inherited is either guessing or lying.

The situation

A Google Ads account opened in October 2022. In 2023 it served zero impressions. Someone had spent CA$619.33 on a Shopping campaign that returned CA$0.00 before removal. After that, a ~CA$5,200 spending period ran at 1.69× all-in. Then someone cut the whole thing to CA$9 a day and stopped looking.

The two "dead" campaigns were converting at 8.03× and 3.93×. The hero campaign was losing 49% of its impression share to bid rank — meaning Google was willing to show the ad and was being told, in effect, not to bother. Amazon held 32.9% impression share in the same auctions. Demand that had already been paid to create was going to a competitor.

The diagnosis

Not a performance problem. A confidence problem. Nobody had read the account closely enough to notice it was winning.

What I did (the receipt)
  1. Full forensic read: every export from 2022–2026, campaign, keyword, search term, auction insights, change history, conversion settings.
  2. Protected the two winners. Did not restructure what was already working.
  3. Pruned waste terms and cannibal brand keywords.
  4. Rebuilt Shopping properly — the original died from bad feed data, not bad demand.
  5. Added remarketing and customer lists, of which there were none.
  6. Wrote a staged budget ladder with stop-rules, agreed in advance.

The situation

Desi Return had a real YouTube audience and a real community. On Google: effectively invisible. An NRI typing "RNOR status" or "moving back to India checklist" landed on a bank's blog or a 2017 forum thread. The homepage was being asked to convert, and it couldn't, because the people arriving didn't know what the platform did.

The diagnosis

The market was asking a hundred scattered questions across five or six topic areas. Whoever organized those questions into one coherent, findable map would own the intent. The homepage wasn't the problem — it was the answer to a question nobody was searching.

What I did (the receipt)
  1. Pulled every declining query from Search Console, grouped by topic cluster: RNOR, banking, shipping, schools, city guides.
  2. Rebuilt metadata, internal linking, and static SEO surfaces across the main site, the planner, and the blog.
  3. Made the planner the single conversion surface — every tool, article CTA, and exit popup routes into it.
  4. Built tools at the end of hard questions: RNOR calculator, Compliance Compass, Should-I-File-Taxes, Should-I-Move-Back.
  5. Wired lead capture into the CRM with intent tags.
  6. Ran a weekly Search Console loop: review → fix top decliners → ship → re-check.

Also built their entire platform architecture — front-end, back-end, system design — to handle real user load and be loved by both search engines and AI chatbots. Produced 300+ pieces of content (video scripts, blog articles, video edits) across a 6-month window. What would have taken a team of 5–7 people, delivered by one person.

The diagnosis

Most agencies would have sold them ads on day one. I didn't. Because ads pointed at nothing multiply nothing — you pay to send people to a dead end, then conclude "the market isn't there."

This wasn't a marketing problem yet. It was an existence problem. No website. No menu. No prices. No way to order. Every recommendation from every happy customer leaked at the same point: "where can I find you online?" And the answer was: nowhere.

What I did — in the right order
  1. Brand system first — including the actual words the community uses (Saapadu, Namaskaram). Kept, not translated away.
  2. Mobile-first Next.js site: home, menu with real prices, contact, order tracking.
  3. Cart, checkout, payments (PhonePe/Razorpay), and an admin surface the kitchen team can run themselves.
  4. Shipped as a PWA so regulars install it and order like an app.

04 / Before AI → After AI

Same judgment. Faster legwork.

Three ways to read it: how I got here, how most agencies use AI versus how I do, and what a project looks like from the first read to the last approval.

I built everything manually.

Copy written line by line. Automations built with code — cron jobs, server-side watchdogs, automated backups, marketing campaign triggers that ran without me in the room. Limited in scale, but real. I already understood the fundamentals of what works and what doesn't. That understanding didn't come from AI.

I scaled the same fundamentals.

AI does the legwork and execution at volume. I decide what gets built, what gets sent, and what gets killed. Every step has a human approval gate before anything reaches a client or their audience. The output volume is 5× what it was. The judgment hasn't changed — it just runs faster.

The agencies that "use AI" and produce garbage? They handed the account to AI and walked away. That's not a technology problem. That's an insight problem.

How I use AI. I bring out insights from available data faster — so the human decisions are better informed, not replaced.

For ads: AI workflows surface what's actually working so I can scale winners and kill losers before they drain budget.

For SEO: AI-assisted content that every LLM and algorithm reads as genuinely useful, because it is — a human is in the loop at every step approving every output.

For retention: segmentation and personalization that used to take days now takes hours, and a human reviews the logic before it goes live.

The AI has drafted a message to your customers. Nothing ships until a person reads it.

A typical project — before AI and after AI — looks like this:

Step 1
Diagnosis first

I read what exists before I build anything. Full forensic audit. No assumptions. This step hasn't changed. AI doesn't do diagnosis. Diagnosis requires understanding what a business actually needs, which requires asking the right questions and reading the actual data.

Step 2
Systems design

Once the problem is defined, the solution is systematic — not heroics. An SOP, a checklist, a workflow. Something that runs without me in the room.

Step 3
AI-amplified execution

This is where scale changed. After AI, the execution layer is faster, broader, and more consistent.

05 / How I work

I work like a doctor, not a contractor.

The contractor

A contractor does what you ask.

You describe the symptom, they apply the fix you named, and the invoice arrives whether or not it was the right fix.

The doctor

A doctor figures out what's actually wrong.

When I take on a client, the first thing I do is read everything — the account history, the analytics, the search data, the funnel. Slowly. Before I change a thing. The Box of Life had a "dead" Google Ads account everyone had given up on. Inside it were two campaigns converting at 8×. On CA$9 a day. Nobody had read it closely enough to notice.

Here's how every engagement runs:

01
Diagnosis

I find the real problem — not the one you think you have, but the one the data shows. Sometimes it's measurement. Sometimes it's a campaign paused by accident. Sometimes it's a website that's converting 1-in-8 browsers and no amount of ad spend will fix that.

02
Systems

Once we know what's broken, I build the fix as a system — not a one-time campaign. Automated flows, SOPs, documented change logs, watchdogs. Work that compounds over time, not spikes and flatlines.

03
AI workflows built for your business

For every client, I build AI workflows trained on their specific business, their products, their audience. Skills documents, knowledge bases, internal tools — built on your stack, running on your servers if privacy matters to you. This is probably the most underrated thing I do, and the one that creates the biggest long-term compound effect.

04
Transparent reporting

If I'm running ads, you get a daily automated report: spend, revenue, what's working, what's not, what I'm doing about it. You don't have to ask. It's already in your inbox.

SpendRevenueWorkingNot workingMy fix
05
No hidden AI costs

I absorb the cost of AI tools and infrastructure. You pay for the work and the results. That's it.

05.2 / Why this works

Four ways to solve a marketing problem. What each one costs you.

A cheaper freelancer

They'll do what you tell them to do. If you already know exactly what needs to be done — the right diagnosis, the right fix, the right sequence — that works. But if you knew all that, you wouldn't be here.

A bigger agency

More people, more meetings, more reports, more invoices. And a junior account manager who's never built a funnel running your ad account while the senior who sold you the pitch is busy selling the next client. I've seen their work when I inherit their accounts. That's usually why I get called.

In-house hire

One person wearing ten hats. Good in theory. In practice: they do some things great and other things slowly, and you're paying a full salary plus benefits for a full-time employee who's available to one client — yours. Meanwhile, Desi Return got the equivalent output of a 5–7 person team at the cost of one retainer.

Just using AI tools yourself

AI is the best legwork assistant ever built. It is not a strategist. It has no insight into your specific funnel, your specific audience, or which of your campaigns is actually working versus what Meta's dashboard says is working. Used well, it's a multiplier. Used blindly, it's an expensive way to produce things that don't convert.

The fit question

I work best with business owners who want real results, don't micromanage how I get them, and care about their business enough to give me the access I need to understand it. If that sounds like you — let's talk.

06 / Free audit

You've been burned before. That's not a reason to give up on marketing.

It's a reason to be more careful about who you work with next.

Here's my offer: book a free 20-minute audit. I'll look at what you have — your ads, your SEO, your funnel, whatever the problem is — and I'll tell you exactly what I see.

No pitch. No "you need a full engagement to know more." Just: here's the problem, here's how I'd fix it, here's what you'd need to do.

07 / FAQ

Straight answers, before you ask.

01What industries do you work with?+

E-commerce, SaaS, service businesses, local businesses, NRI consultancy, healthcare, education, real estate, food and wellness, immigration, luxury goods, solar. If you have a real business with real revenue, the industry probably doesn't matter.

I don't work on adult content, gambling, betting, or lottery. I also don't do branding-only projects — if the work doesn't connect to revenue, I'm not interested, and you shouldn't be either.

02What's the minimum engagement?+

3-month retainer to start, renewable at 6 months. Project-based work is also available for defined scopes. SEO projects run a minimum of 6 months — real search results take time and I won't pretend otherwise.

03What's the price range?+

Depends on the scope and what you need. Starting point is around $1,000–$2,000/month. Tell me what you're working with and what you need, and I'll be straight with you about whether it makes sense.

04What do you charge for AI tools?+

Nothing. I absorb those costs. You're not getting a bill for tokens.

05How do I know you're actually getting results, not just sending me nice-looking reports?+

You'll have access to the same data I do. If I'm running ads, you get a daily automated report with real numbers — spend, revenue, what's working, what's not. If I'm doing SEO, I'll show you Search Console every week. The screenshots in my case studies are real exports, not mockups. And on the free audit call, I'll open the data with you.

06What if I've already tried an agency and it didn't work?+

Then you know what "not working" looks like. That's actually useful — it narrows down where the real problem is. Book the audit. We'll figure out what they missed.

07Do you have testimonials?+

I'm working on getting them (my clients are real businesses, not marketing companies — asking them to record testimonials is a process). References are available on a call. The Search Console exports and ad account screenshots are what I'm most proud of anyway — those don't have opinions, they just show the numbers.

08What's data privacy like? Can I keep my data on my own servers?+

Yes. For clients who want it, I can deploy open-source LLM models on your own infrastructure — private knowledge bases, no data leaving your servers, trained on your business. You pay the server cost; I do the setup and configuration.

You've read this far. Book the audit.

That means one of two things: either you have a real problem and you're trying to figure out if I can solve it. Or you just like reading case studies. (Both are fine.)

If it's the first one — book the audit. It's free, it's 20 minutes, and I won't waste your time.
